My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Serendippity! She was found as a stray running loose on a highway in GA. She somehow managed to cross 6 lanes of busy interstate before being rescued. She must have been someone’s pet as she knows the “sit” command and will sit at the door when you are getting ready to put her on a leash to take her for a walk. She takes treats very gently from your hand. Does not appear to be food aggressive as she would wait her turn when I fed her with my dog. I kept them separate while I fed them and she would mosey over to see what else I was handing out but was never pushy. She is still very much a puppy and has a lot of energy. She loves it when you get on the floor with her. She gets so excited she doesn't know whether to sit in your lap or flop on her back for a tummy rub. She is a silly, goofy, extremely affectionate little gal. She is quick to learn so she will quickly get with a routine. She is seriously excited by being allowed to sit on the sofa and stuffed chairs. When she saw my dog on the bed she started trying to figure out how to get up there and once she did she just plopped down and sighed. She’s a smart pup.
She loves to play with other dogs. Wants to engage with them and is very nice to all the dogs we have met at the clinic and on our walks. She did well with my grumpy older dog who does not like to play. Even though she couldn't understand how in the world another dog would not want to play with her, she did understand that my dog’s growls meant ‘back off’. I think her puppyish energy gets the best of her sometimes and she just wants to play and play. She would probably do best with another fun-loving dog who doesn't mind a pup who loves to play. She loves Nyla bones and hard toys. She has the build of a Cattle Dog with the spotted/Merle black and white markings on one paw and on her chest. She is just an amazing little girl! Apply today and come meet her!
