If you look up in a doggie dictionary for “a perfect dog,” Xena would be the definition. This sweet dog has grown up with three kids, but a new landlord who bought their apartment building booted out every single dog that lived in the complex (what an evil man!). This is one of the reasons why tens of thousands of dogs are killed in the pound in LA alone. But Xena’s family sought a no-kill rescue to take her in, so Forte stepped in. She’s not keen on fireworks, big trucks or road trips, but Xena enjoys hiking, parks, balls, doggy ice cream, peanut butter, and likes fish more than meat! Above all, what she needs the most is a family who will make sure that she will never need another home ever again. She’s currently housed at a cagefree boarding, so she gets along with any dog-friendly dog, and would obviously make a fantastic family dog!
If you are interested in meeting Xena, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.
[Xena is 3 years old and weighs 35 lbs.]
