Luna's Story...
Luna is a sweet older Husky/Malamute mix looking for a nice place to spend her twilight years. Luna's ideal environment would be in a home that will respect her space (no little kids) and give her the love she deserves. Although Luna gets along with other dogs she should probably be the only dog in the home. She has not been exposed to cats. She's a sweet, loving girl that deserves love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luna, a Bellingham Husky/Alaskan Malamute dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Alaskan Malamute for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Husky/Alaskan Malamute dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Husky/Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
