Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sunshine! Sunshine came to us because unfortunately, her person was admitted to a nursing home. Sunshine had 4 herniated discs which were very painful, she would scream when you touch her. We took her to a neurologist who started treatment to relieve her back. Sunshine is now doing really well now and enjoys being held, she does still walk with a hunch in her back, but gets along great. A herniated disc can be aggravated and re-injured so it's important she find a home that is low activity with no children. She is not allowed to jump on and off furniture but she is a lap dog, so will need to be helped up and down by her person. Sunshine weighs about 4lbs, she is 7 years old, super sweet and spunky! Please email Jo Ann (joannl2@cox.net) for information about how to adopt Sunshine or visit www.azchihuahuarescue.org
