I'm Ash and I am still not very sure of my surroundings. Even though I have been at the Muskingum County Dog Warden & Adoption Center for a few weeks, I still haven't let the volunteers walk me yet. I'm just having a very hard time with all of the noise, chaos, and unfamiliar people. I do find comfort in other gentle dogs and am trying to learn to trust. Just the other day I licked a volunteer's hand which may seem like nothing to you, but it was a huge step for me!

Adoption fee is $105 which includes spay/neuter, combo and rabies shots, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm test and dog tags. (Although some of the dogs come to the pound spayed or neutered, most do not. If you adopt a dog that has not yet been spayed/neutered, we will set up an appointment for the dog to be spayed/neutered before it can leave the facility.)
