Griff in TX's Story...

Griff is ready to rock and roll! He has finished his heartworm treatment and came through with flying colors. He is so full of life. He has been given a little more freedom now and has been exploring every nook and cranny of his foster home. He likes to help foster mom clean the kitchen floor, but prefers to use his tongue instead of the mop. He is learning some manners - such as waiting his turn to get a treat. His house training is going very well. In fact, he is 99% there. As far as barking goes, he is fairly quiet and only barks when the other dogs start up. So if you would like a sweet, happy boy in your home for the holidays, get your application in for Griff!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Griff in TX, a Fort Worth Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
