Pentagon in BC's Story...

Hi Cousins. My name is Pentagon. I am working so hard to be the best behaved pup in the whole world. When my mom picks me up I do not move and I will not look at her. Don't get me wrong, I really like it but I am so afraid of doing something wrong that I stay perfectly still. I really like my foster mom and follow her everywhere. When she paints or practices her violin I love to lie at her feet. My foster dad is very tall and has a very loud voice. I hide from him a lot but when he is sleeping on the couch, I sneak up on him and peek at him. He is a little frightening but I am getting better. This thing called freedom is hard for a little dog to adjust to. Pretty soon my mom says I will learn how to play. Hope so! Love, Pentagon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pentagon in BC, a Portland Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
