My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

There comes a time in foster mom's life when she comes to the conclusion that her little foster may be smarter than she is. Little Frodo was picking up little rocks and bringing them into the house, chewing on the rock. He knows 'trade' so foster mom would instantly say 'trade' and Frodo would drop his rock, then foster mom would give him a yummy treat and pick up the rock and throw it away. After about the 10th rock, it dawned on me that he was playing games with me. Frodo was doing this to get the treat he knew was coming when he dropped his rock. How did I realize this? When he came in and I did not realize immediately he had a rock and he came over and stood in front of me and chewed on it a little to let me know he had a rock in his mouth! Does he still get his treat? You betcha! Cannot having him chewing on rocks! Is he enjoying this game? You betcha!
