Patch in NS's Info...

Patch in NS's Story...
Patch acts like a typical young Cairn, curious, full of energy and likes to check out everything from as high a vantage spot as he can get. He is very affectionate and is getting on quite well with the resident Cairn who quickly showed him who is the boss. He loves to wrestle and play. He walks well on a leash and knows a few commands and is quick to learn. He is also house trained and sleeps quite happily in his crate at night.

He has met a few local dogs and is friendly to both males and females. He will chase cats however. Patch is a high energy boy who needs lots of exercise and fun things to do or he will spend his time making his own fun with anything chewable in sight.
He is quite a jumper and would need a very secure yard if let off a leash. If you are looking for an active, fun loving Cairn, Patch would be perfect.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patch in NS, a Whitesboro Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Whitesboro, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Whitesboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Whitesboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Whitesboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Whitesboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
