Hello, hello, hello! I’m Bowie and I’m ready to go. I’m excited about finding my new forever home, although my life these past months has been just grand staying with my nice foster folks from M.A.I.N. Thank goodness these fab folks rescued me or I would have been just one more pup climbing that stairway to heaven. But rescue me they did – whew! So here’s my story, I have what’s called a liver shunt. Don’t exactly understand it, but I was born with it. Means I need to be on meds for the rest of my life, but I’m not letting that slow me down and yes, thank you, I’m feeling just great. I’m just a young pup and I’m not too big, but my winning personality more than makes up for my small size. For a youngster, I’ve learned quite a lot of skills in the past few months. I know how to stay in my kennel and behave (no messes – ever), I’m potty trained, know how to use the doggy door and am just all around lovable. Just give me some chew toys and I am one happy boy. Wow, did I tell you I have pup bros here at the house. OK, they are all bigger than me, but that doesn’t stop us having fun, but I just don’t understand why the cat doesn’t want to play with us too. She’s obviously no fun, so I just ignore her. (Silly cat, doesn’t know what she’s missing.) Oh, boy and do I love to cuddle up with my humans. I’m small enough to fit in a lap, so I’m really a very conveniently sized pup. Well, all that being said, I’m not perfect. I’m sure I will grow out of it, but I just love slippers. I don’t hurt them, just cuddle with them. What can I say, I just love them and they seem to love me too!!! Hey, I know you are out there looking for me and I can’t wait to meet you. And I promise, I will ditch the slippers for my new perfect human family. Love Bowie.
Hi there everybody, I’m Adele and I’m just a little bitty thing, but I love to play and snuggle. Things are really looking up for me these days. Life is good, but for a while there it was touch and go. I was just a little, itty bitty baby a few months ago and was really, really sick. The good folks at M.A.I.N. took me in and gave me my life back. It took a while, but I’m better than ever. So while I was recovering, my foster mom worked with me on all kinds of tricks. I am now, proud to say, potty trained and know how to use my dog door. I also have my very own kennel, which I love (helps me feel safe). Hey I also have a lot of pals here (mostly doggy ones) and we love, love, love to play. I also have a human buddy, he’s my foster mama’s grandson, and he’s a great playmate and also a good cuddle-er! Here are the things I love: watermelon, toys, riding in the car, snuggling, playing and jumping. I’m pretty well behaved for such a young pup and I doubt I’m gonna get much bigger than 6 lbs., so I don’t take up much room. I’m not perfect, but pretty close. I promise to be the best pup in the world for you and your family. I’m telling you, I love everyone and everyone seems to love me back. Ain’t life grand? Hope to meet you soon. – Adele
