Well ladies and gentlemen - it's time! Miss Sydney is ready to find her forever home. She is still cautious, but she has made great progress. She comes running out of her crate in the morning - happy to start the day. And she has been playing with the resident Cairns. Our oldest Cairn Grady, has even graced Sydney with some play time. Parker, our 2 yr old Cairn, and Sydney like to play occasionally, but I'm more likely to find them cuddled together in Parker's crate or on one of the dog beds. She'll need a home that's willing to allow her a few weeks to adjust, but when she puts her little paw on your knee, she is ready to spend time with you. Sydney will cuddle happily on your lap while you work, or beside you on the couch in the evening. This little girl has done well on walks with our other dogs, but she is still tentative about meeting new people. I would describe her as a low energy dog - a happy couch potato. I think she would do well in a quiet family with older children. She is more comfortable with women than with men at this point. Someone who works at home and wants a little cuddle buddy would be perfect. Sydney is sweet and loving but still needs patience. Her affection is worth the wait however, and she will make a great addition to the right home. CLICK HERE FOR LOTS MORE INFORMATION AND UPDATES ON SYDNEY IN CONNECTICUT
