My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Newman here: I've been in my foster home for about six months now -and I'm ready to move on. Don't get me wrong, it's been great here, but I need to make a getaway because I don't want to see OR feel any more snow or ice! Been there, done that, do not like it! I even went on vacation this winter up North in Minnesota by that great, big lake up there. Yuck.
I've been poked and prodded and am taking some medicines. Foster Mom says I'm lots better than when I first came here. I still don't walk right but I can get around now, especially if you bribe me with a treat or food. I love my food. You'd be surprised how fast I can move when there's food or a treat involved! You can read more about my medical condition if you click on the link below but first let me tell you more reasons why you should adopt me: since I can't really move that well - I can't become an escape artist and run away from you! Most anyone can get around faster than I can so you don't have to worry about losing me. I won't jump up on your furniture either, you have to lift me up to sit next to you, and believe me, I will let you know when you need to lift me up. I love sitting on the couch or chair next to any warm body. Talk about companion dogs - you couldn't ask for anyone better than me. Foster Mom says I should have been named Casanova, since I'm such a lover. Of course she named me Newman after Mr. Paul Newman because he has such beautiful blue eyes and yup, guess who else has beautiful eyes - ME - THAT'S WHO! I have big, beautiful BROWN eyes, but who's nit picking? That's just the one of the reasons you want to adopt me - I'm too handsome to resist. C'mon, fill out that application. You KNOW you want to!
