Belle Star in KS's Story...
Belle Starr would love to let her light shine through, but she is still somewhat unsure of herself. She has made some remarkable strides this past week. She mastered the doggie door, is more comfortable around people and the resident dogs, and has shown a bit of interest in toys. Belle likes the feel of green grass under her feet, especially in the early morning and late evening dew. That is when her 'starlight' sparkles and twinkles - that is when you see her smile. Belle is improving on her potty habits and keeps her crate dry all night. She is in good health and is ready to find her new home. Belle would love to have you invite her onto the 'stage of life' where she can sing and dance and share her love with you. Belle Starr will make you a star, too!

Belle Star is being fostered in Topeka, Kansas in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Belle Star in KS, a Topeka Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Topeka, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Topeka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Topeka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Topeka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Topeka paves the way for another one to be saved.
