Ella's Story...
Please note that all our dog’s are located in NC and VA. They can be transported to one of our many locations in the Northeast once they are adopted. No matter what location on Adopt-a-Pet you see the pups listed on that still means they are physically in NC and VA. Please read the main website for more information on our location and adoption process www.saveamuttkennel.info
This pup was born 5-1-2016. She was born to a purebred lab mom. The former owner had no idea what the dad was. We answered the owner’s plea for help. She could not care for all the puppies financially. The pups look predominantly lab. This pup and all her siblings have been well socialized. This pup has been started on potty training and crate training. This pup is great with other dogs and cats. This pup loves every human she meets.

This pup is current on all age appropriate vaccines. She is current on deworming, flea prevention and she has been microchipped. The adopter will receive all the health records with adopter. The pup will receive a complete physical and a certificate of health no more than 48 hours prior to going to her new home.

We require a pre screen application. You can get that on the main website at www.saveamuttkennel.info

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ella, a Burlington Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Burlington, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Burlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
