Hi! Our names are Meg and Missy! We are toy poodle girls and our family wants GPR to find us a good home. Our baby human brother became very allergic to us so the tough decision was made. We can be adopted together or separately. Meg is white, was born April 2014, and weighs about 11 lbs., and Missy is blue, was born April 2010, and weighs about 13 lbs. We are both charming little girls who have been together about two years.

We do not adopt out of state nor to families with children under the age of 10 years old. You must view our web site at for further information on our process and policies and/or to make a donation. Please email for additional questions and/or an adoption application only after you review our web site. This allows us to spend more time with our animals.

About Georgia Poodle Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are the first rescue in the state of Georgia specific to rescuing poodles and poodle mixes.

Georgia Poodle Rescue is a legal entity formed under Georgia Poodle Club Incorporated. We are a licensed and permitted non-profit corporation, in the application process of obtaining our tax-exempt 501c)(3) status and located in the new city of Milton, Georgia, formerly known as Alpharetta unincorporated.

We were created to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide sanctuary for unwanted poodles, poodle mixes, and other animals as resources allow. Once these poodles have been properly rehabilitated and trained, our goal is to adopt them into appropriate, loving, and responsible “forever” homes.

We do the work for you! We want our adopted dogs to be adopted into their forever homes on the first adoption and not be bounced around from home to home. To help ensure our dogs get a good chance of this, we are the first rescue organization that we know of that commits to providing ALL of the following to dogs adopted from us: training in a cage-free home environment in basic obedience, socialization, housetraining, how to walk on a leash, pack leadership protocols (with instructions to the lucky new owners), up-to-date vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and microchipping. Adoption fees vary between $125-$350 per dog, which allows our organization to continue feeding, housing, training and providing medical and nutritional care for the poodles, especially for those poodles that will most likely be with us for the rest of their lives due to their age or other issues. The adoption fee also includes a free one-year membership in Georgia Poodle Club Incorporated and lifetime discounted dog boarding at the exclusive Blue Willow Farm.

If you cannot adopt from us, we greatly accept all generous funding and other donations to help our organization continue helping the poodles.

Our private shelter is limited to 20 dogs at this point in time until we can raise funds to expand our space. As such, we are always in need of good foster homes and volunteers to help us out at our events. We are also in the process of forming various committees and are looking for people to help lead, manage, and volunteer on these committees. If you are interested or have any thoughts to help out, please contact us at

Our full contact information is: email at , phone at 678-624-0444, and US mail at 980 Birmingham Road, Suite 501-230, Milton, GA 30004.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Donations can be made payable to Georgia Poodle Rescue and sent through PayPal or via US mail to 12850 Hwy9N, Ste 600-230, Alpharetta, GA 30004. Your donations allow us to continue this rescue program, to feed, provide medical care, nutritional care, and other care for poodles, poodle mixes and other breeds as space allows. Some of our older or special needs dogs will mostly likely live their lives with us for the rest of their lives due to their age, medical, or other conditions. Please help us keep these poodles/mixes healthy, fed, trained, and then adopted by donating today. Thank you.
