My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

An adoption application on CHIP can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h
Please email the completed application to weatherley.woofriver@gmail.com. Please submit an application AND do NOT also contact the shelter. You will be contacting both the adoption coordinator and the marketing director, who do not see each other's emails. This causes confusion.

CHIP is the cutest little guy on earth! He is a sweet and snuggly little pup who makes everyone who lays eyes on him smile. He loves playing with other puppy friends. After playing, he is ready to curl up and take a nap. He lives in a foster home with adult dogs and children as well so he is getting plenty valuable socialization. CHIP will be 10 weeks old on 7/16/16. He is ahead of the potty training curve for his age. CHIP is ready to make memories with his forever family and shower them with an endless supply of puppy kisses.

CHIP will be microchipped and vaccinated as many times as age will allow when he arrives at his forever home.
His $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to New England.

An adoption application for CHIP can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h
Please email the completed application to weatherley.woofriver@gmail.com. It typically takes us around 5 business days to process an application. We will reach out to you as soon as your application is processed.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
