MELANIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Melanie is a friendly, sweet and silly girl looking to find a family of her own. This beautiful girl is the last remaining pup out of a litter of 10. All of her brothers and sisters have all been adopted and Melanie has been patiently waiting for her turn. She was born on 3/19/16 in a rural animal control facility in southern IL. Her mother was a Lab/Shepherd mix, but It's hard to say who daddy may have been, some of the pups had markings similar to a Rottweiler, some looked like Coonhounds, and others (like Melanie) looked like they like they could have some Boxer in them. Whatever she is mixed with, she is absolutely adorable! She currently weighs in right around 40 pounds and her mother was around 60 pounds, we are expecting her to stay under 60 pounds. Melanie is a social butterfly and was always the clown of the group. This girl loves having a good time! She also loves, loves, loves water! She can't get enough of hanging out in the kiddie pool or fighting with the hose. She'll be a great for an active family that is looking for a dog that enjoys water related activities. As much as she loves to play, she loves to cuddle and snuggle just as much and she adores other dogs. Melanie is a true gem and we cannot believe she hasn't been adopted yet! • Melanie's adoption donation is $375. This donation helps to cover her spay, vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Melanie and her family from euthanasia.
