we are advertising for the owner
once you fill out the app we forward to the owner that's how far we go on that
please read below of what the owner is looking for
you MUST live in or near SAC area (as you will be meeting Dozer a few times at owners home before there would be any adoption)
You must be dog experienced and owned at least one large dog
You must be able to know how to continue training him and be strong enough to handle a 120 pound dog
you must live in country or outskirts of town
you must be a stable home owner over the age of 28 years
you must be a good alpha leader
you must have no kids nor have any in the future unless you work with a trainer that can show you what needs to be done
he grew up in a home without kids
a small nice dog would most likely be fine as he lives with a 12 pound male and a 30 pound female dog and he's best buddy with the female
but he grew up with her most of his life
was not socialized around other animals nor people outside the home
prefer someone home more then not
you must have a large securely fenced yard and must ensure he's a indoor dog with playtime outside
Dozer loves his daddy so looking for a man as a new owner he's fine with the wife too but loves him and is bonded to him
the wife no longer wants Dozer in the home so hubby must part with him
sadly
Dozer is 17 months old and according to his current owner weighs already 120 pounds
he's 31 inches tall
Dozer has energy and is not a couch potato he's young and not a mellow mastiff since he's a mix
maybe some great Dane in him too he's tall
he has had some training knows hand signals too looking to continue in a breed experienced home prefer as only pet in adult home with a big enough yard to stretch his legs and someone that's home during the day has the time and wants another best buddy as a family member not just a dog
loves to chase Tennis Ball, chew toys, loves to play, loves to run
and loves to bond and be with his family indoors with play and potty outside
He's fully house trained
not crate trained but may be a good idea
does great when visitors come over but still needs to learn not to jump and be so excited
loves to give kisses too only to trusted folks and only when in his own home not when out and about
not very good in public so that's why country suits him best
he is a great protector but we don't want him to go just to protect you
there's more then just that
he's fully vetted chipped and recent shots, heartworm tested, fixed
small adoption fee to perfect matching forever person
fenced yard a must
