My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roxie is a very sweet and fun-loving 2-year-old chocolate Lab mix. She is on the small side, only weighing around 45 lbs. She is completely house and crated trained. She LOVES to go on short walks and doing ‘zoomies’ in the yard and also loves to play fetch inside and out with soft toys and balls. She currently lives with her Lab foster brother, a teenage boy and her foster parents. She can be a bit shy with new people but doesn’t take long to warm up. For only having three functional legs, not much slows Roxie down. She can navigate stairs quicker than anyone, she jumps like a b-ball player and she is a strong walker. Roxie does still have puppy energy but it’s in short bursts and then she’s down for the count. She keeps her foster mom company during the day while she works by lounging on the couch, napping on her dog bed and keeping an eye on the neighborhood. Roxie would love a new home that is fun, loving, laid back and understanding that while she may have physical limitations, she wants nothing more than to be treated as a “normal” dog. She simply has no idea she is different; she’s just a sweet and beautiful little girl enjoying life to the fullest. Roxie is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped.
