Marshmallow's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Marshmallow's Story...
My brother, Butterscotch, and I are fostered in Huntsville, AL. We are both still waiting for our forever home. We don't have to stay together, but I would really like to have another kitty to play with. I am a really light orange (some people call it "buff") with white everywhere else. I enjoy batting toys around the house and carrying my stuffed mouse around in my mouth. I am a pretty normal kitty and would love to be your friend for life. I am felv/fiv negative, up to date on vaccines, neutered and chipped. My adoption fee is $75. You can complete an application for me at www.forrescue.net/cat-application/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marshmallow, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
