Phoebe's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Phoebe's Story...
Phoebe is a 20 month old, spayed terrier/hound mix that recently lost her home. Phoebe has a very playful, fun loving spirit and gets along well with everyone she meets including kids. Phoebe enjoys playing with other dogs but can be protective of her resources so it would be best to have a family that is experienced with managing this behavior. This sweet girl is affectionate, very energetic and would enjoy an active family environment. Phoebe knows basic commands, is housebroken and crate trained but could benefit from a home that could continue her training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoebe, a Cranford Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Cranford, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Cranford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranford paves the way for another one to be saved.
