Gigi's Story...
Gigi came to us with her brother Simba when her owner could no longer care for her. She is a beautiful cat and loves to snuggle. She loves to be held and give hugs! She plays with toys and loves to chase her feather on a string! She is very petite and would make a great addition to any family. She loves all people and does fine with other cats once they have time to adjust. She hasn't been around dogs much but she would probably do fine with a dog who would respect her space and is not to large in size. Her and Simba would love to be adopted as a pair but this is not a requirement.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gigi, a Overland PArk Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Overland PArk, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Overland PArk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland PArk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland PArk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland PArk paves the way for another one to be saved.
