My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WILLABY is a 5 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 67 pounds. He loves people. He is a sweet, friendly, great dog. Willaby/Moose knows the sit, lie down, and come commands and is very food motivated for training. He is cratetrained. Recently Willaby/Moose has been with a BAWF foster who has a fenced yard. By running around the yard, he has been able to burn off a lot of the energy he had from staying in the kennel. (BAWF previously had no available foster space for him which is why he was in the kennel.) The foster has also been working with him on commands and working with him a lot on leash walking, and he has shown a lot of improvement (seen in some of his videos). The foster thinks Willaby/Moose was pulling on leash before, because he just wasn’t used to the leash. Willaby/Moose will need additional training (especially leash walking) to continue the improvement he’s made with his foster. An easy walk harness will be good for Willaby/Moose as he continues his leash training. He will also need plenty of exercise – possibly a fenced yard where he can run. Willaby/Moose is good with large dogs. He seems to have a prey drive, though, and will lunge at/chase small dogs, cats, birds, chickens, and squirrels. So, no small animals for this boy. Willaby/Moose comes from the country with no exposure to big cities. Placement is limited to stand alone, single family homes in a suburban neighborhood or rural area. There’s no kid history for WIllaby/Moose, so he’s approved for kids ages 10 +. More info soon!!! See video
