Sassy's Story...

Sassy is a petite princess, 6 month old tortie kitten, who has learned that humans are kind and loving after a hard life on the streets! She can be a little shy at first but loves to be petted, get attention and snuggle. We know that she will flourish in a new home and will come out of her shell even more. She is a very active kitten who likes to play. She is non-aggressive with other cats and would make a wonderful companion to a multi-cat household. She has not been introduced to dogs, but a well manner dog would be okay. If you are looking for a female tortie who is a lap cat and not a diva, Sassy is the girl for you!

Sassy is spayed and up to date with vaccines and ready for a home! Please email for an adoption application or visit us at for adoption information and download an application. Her adoption fee is $75.00.
Sassy, Domestic Short Hair has been shared from Shelter Exchange.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sassy, a Barrington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Barrington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Barrington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Barrington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Barrington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Barrington paves the way for another one to be saved.
