Sultan's Story...
Greetings.....My name is Sultan and I am currently in training with Puppies for Parole in Cameron MO. I just came into the training but I am doing good with listening and playing with the other dogs. I am training where I will learn how to sit, stay, lay down and recall where I come when called. I am also working on house training and kennel training. I am meeting lots of new people and new dogs. I really love being with Puppies for Parole and can not wait to show the world what I can do. I have completed my training and I am ready to go. I know lots of new things like sit, stay, wait, down, settle, shake with my left and right paw, heal, stand, high 5 go visit, watch me , back up, kenneling and wait for food. I am a very loyal dog that is looking for a family to love me!!

If you are interested in meeting or adopting this dog or if you have any questions please feel free to contact our volunteer Kathy Zipp at or contact her at 816-752-2295. We will try to respond back as quickly as we can but all of our staff or volunteers also work. Thank you

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sultan, a Cameron Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Cameron, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cameron.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cameron already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cameron breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cameron paves the way for another one to be saved.
