Jax was super happy to celebrate the 4th with us here at the rescue! Jax is yet ANOTHER of the Florence Dozen dogs that we rescued a couple of weeks ago. TWELVE DOGS IN ONE HOME! Their owner passed away, and we took the entire clan in, ranging in ages 1-11 ! Jax is about 3-4 years old and is just a sweet boy. He is potty trained as all the dogs in the home were kept loose with the back door to the yard open all the time. None of the dogs had any training whatsoever. So he will need to be taught about the leash, and the world in general, as they NEVER left the home. The world is completely new to them all - including the 4th of July festivities! We have found ALL the Florence dogs to be very sweet and loving around people. They love attention, and are social with people. They all get along with other dogs as well, after having lived in a large pack. They have all seemed fine with children as well. We believe Jax will make a WONDERFUL family pet. All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time and expenses. Many of our volunteers juggle family, and full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws. Please be patient as sometimes it takes up to 5 days to process an application.
