She is super sweet and submissive to all ages of people. She enjoys being with people, children, dogs as well as cats.

Misty is a playful and lovable girl! She loves playing with her siblings and other dogs in the foster family. She enjoys people’s company and is very friendly to all ages of people. She is generous enough to share the bed and pillow with her foster human. She loves to cuddle very much and she is a passionate kisser. She is an energetic, beautiful, smart and adorable girl who is easy to grow on you. Will you offer her a forever home? She will be a good companion to you!

Misty was rescued along with her other 5 siblings in the rural mountain area. The mother dog hid them on a dangerous hillside; there was a road above and a ditch under their hidden site. What’s even worse, other stray dogs would harass them when the mother dog was out for food.
Luckily enough we found them and took them to the vet in time and had them examined. They were found to suffer from mal nutrition and some injuries. Therefore, we arranged them to stay with foster families for better care and medical treatment.

As her wounds are healing fast, most of the missing fur is gradually growing back, it simply needs some time. However, some tiny imprints from the previous severe injuries may permanently mark her as a strong and brave survivor. Now not only her coat is shinier, skin problems are much improved, but she is also so much healthier and full of life! Misty is ready for a forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Misty, a Castro Valley Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
