My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ORIGINAL BIO 8/14/08: Hey everypuppy! Miley here! I was rescued today from a high kill shelter in South Florida (where many of my UYR Florida foster pupmates come from as well). I am 1- 1/2 years old and weigh 11 pounds. I am a very lucky girl - wanna know why? Well, I had an yucky infection of the uterus called pyometra. The only way to cure it is to get me spayed ASAP. Well, the one good thing about being in a shelter is that they spay you before you go home! Lucky me! I got spayed this week and they found it before it made me too sick. Lots and lots of people were interested in me, but when they found out I had an infection, they were scared and didn't want to take me home. No biggie, I say! I am well on my way to recovery. Since I spent about a week in the shelter, I caught kennel cough, so I'm gonna need a little time before I can go to my FURever home. FM says I deserve a little TLC. I am a beautiful little girl with a sweet, mellow personality. I can't wait to make a full recovery so I can go home with you! Stay tuned for more info on me really soon! Miley - out!
