Miss Beasley's Story...
"Miss Beasley" is an adorable 6-week old female kitten who arrived at the HSOV on July 14, 2016 after she was found in the Marietta Ohio area. This precious baby girl has a black medium smooth coat with silvery gray highlights, a patch of white on her chest, a long tail, and a beautiful round kitten face with magnificent silver/white 'ear furnishings'. "Miss Beasley" resembles a tiny black bear cub when you see her in person. She has an affectionate, playful kitten personality (and did we mention that she is as cute as a button?) :) "Miss Beasley" weighs just 1.6 lbs. She was given vaccinations and wormer on July 14, 2016. "Miss Beasley" will be available for adoption when she is old enough to be spayed. She would be available for foster/rescue at any time. Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation and also provide combo testing without charge to rescues/fosters.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miss Beasley, a Marietta Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
