Gertrude & Ophelia's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and a special needs pet.

Gertrude & Ophelia's Story...
Gertrude & Ophelia found themselves at one of our animal controls after they were rescued off a hot trailer on the freeway. They were just wee tiny babies when they arrived here. Ophelia (fawn & white) sustained an injury to her right front leg before coming to us. Our vet has examined her and unfortunately there is nothing we can do to fix her leg. But that does not stop Ophelia from being a happy bunny! She gets around great on her leg! She does have to be housed on a non slippery surface.

Both bunnies are so very sweet. They love attention and being pet. If you sit on the floor both girls are hopping over and begging for attention. They are such happy little bunnies and are deeply bonded. They must be adopted together and stay together for life!

**If you are new to house rabbits, please do your research before adding a bun to your home. They are phenomenal companions but you must understand rabbit behavior and the level of care they require!**

We adopt out to indoor homes only! If you are under the age of 18 we will need a parent or legal guardian to contact us. Our adoption fee is $85 for a single bunny and $140 for a bonded pair. For more information or if you are interested in adopting please send us an email at thebunnyburrowrr@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gertrude & Ophelia, a Watauga Other/Unknown was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Other/Unknown for sale in Watauga, or seeking a Other/Unknown from a breeder in Watauga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Watauga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Watauga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Other/Unknown breeders who help with Other/Unknown rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Watauga paves the way for another one to be saved.
