Here's what the humans have to say about me:
HAVEN is a 5 year old neutered black female Lab who weighs 46 pounds. Haven came in to a local shelter as a stray. She had some wounds that looked like "road rash" when she came in and looked to be pregnant or recently had pups! She was not pregnant..whew...the vets determined that she either recently weaned pups or had a pseudo pregnancy. She is hanging out in a foster home until her milk is gone so that she can be spayed but is available. Her foster says: Haven is a sweet, sweet girl. She knows basic commands come, sit, down, stay. She is house trained and crate trained. She tries to do a little counter surfing and she jumps when excited, but we are working on that and she is eager to please and responds great to correction. She takes food gently and isn't possessive. Haven is a total snuggle bug and will wrap herself all around you. Haven is very petite and gorgeous - she has all the beautiful lab characteristics. Pretty white teeth, silky ears, lab coat and tail. Calm and barks only to get our attention. Overall a wonderful little girl! Haven is good on leash and a good rider. She is good with other dogs. She is approved for kids 10+. More info soon!
Update: Haven is in foster with two male dogs and does great but she can be particular about doggie friends and may prefer her humans to herself. Her foster describes her like this: If there are folks out there who want a petite, beautiful, cuddly, snuggly lab who retrieves and knows basic commands, is housebroken and crate trained and medium energy I think she would be happier as the only dog in a family or with 1 or 2 parents. Sounds kind of perfect to me!!
