Meet Kara (pronounced Car-a)! Kara is a sweet and beautiful gal looking for a place to call home. Kara is named after Supergirl; a tough girl who has overcome a hard start in life. Kara also likes to sit in the “superman” position, so we knew Kara was the right name for her! Kara is a lover girl, she loves to be with her person. Wherever they are, that’s where Kara is, but she is not a pest. She’ll follow you around the house, sit under your desk, and lay next to your feet while you’re relaxing on the couch. Kara lives with other dogs, she gets along with them all. She loves people, even meeting new people, and has one of the easiest going personalities. She is house-trained and learned how to go in and out a doggie door. Kara is great in the car and on walks. She loves squeaky toys and enjoys it when you chase her for them. Be warned, she is really good at the game and is not going to let you get them from her! :) Kara is looking for a family to give her tons of love. We believe Kara is going on 8 years young. She weighs about 21 lbs. She will be a great addition to any family, including a first-time dog family!Our adoptions are restricted to residents of Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
