Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dutchess is a 5 year old Sheba Inu still looking for her forever home. Someone who will not fail her again. She is definitely not a first time dog for a family. Dutchess takes quite a while to settle in and even after still has some quirks to her. She is funny in the ways that she plays and brings her toys to you. You will laugh at her crazy antics but will need to continue obedience training with her. Dutchess is great with cats as long as cats are dog savvy and will not go after her, if she chases them and wants to play. She is very prey driven and has even chased a neighborhood fox. She does not do well with other dogs but you will notice her best friend is a pitbull. This Pitbull is very docile and just does not care about anything, she will come around and be best friends with a docile dog. Dutchess does very well with him because he ignores her but plays with her when she wants to play. She does not do well with dogs smaller than her , ones that are hyper , or the least bit aggressive. Dutchess is great with kids but still has some quirks. If she hides under a bed she will growl. If she is in a crate and nervous from a large crowd she will growl. She does not bark but has a weird yipe/scream to her. She is a loveable dog who is highly misunderstood. The breed is very stubborn and hard to train. But anyone who owns a sheba will explain that they are so much fun, funny and loving. Despite their quirks. Are you that family for her? PS she plays great with kids, but does get nervous among groups of children who heighten the environment and scream. Please help us find Dutchess final home in our cruel world we live in. Please!!
