Petunia's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Petunia's Story...
Petunia was very pregnant and heartworm positive when she came to us from animal control. She delivered 5 healthy beautiful pups and was a wonderful mom. Her pups no longer need her and she has received her heartworm treatment so now it's her turned to be babied. She is a happy friendly girl who loves to play with the other foster dogs. She's a 13 inch beagle and weighs at around 20 pounds..

All of our dogs are fostered in our homes so we know their temperaments. They are spayed or neutered, up to date on shots, de-wormed, heartworm tested (and treated if necessary), and on flea and heartworm prevention. Our adoption fee begins at $165.00 for all of our dogs and puppies. Our goal is to match our animals to the best home possible. Please email info@cofas.org for more information. You can also fill out an application at www.cofas.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petunia, a Greensboro Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
