My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ricky here! He's a 6-7 year old Bluetick Coonhound. Ricky is a transfer from another facility so his history is a mystery. He's been a delightful fellow during his stay at the shelter. Coonhounds are known to be clever, confident, intelligent, loving and very affectionate. They usually have a lot of energy while outside and become laid back snugglers in the house. A fenced in yard is recommended. Hounds are known to love to chase litter critters and varmints. Ricky is waiting for his forever home. Please don't make him wait too long.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
