Lycan's Story...
Meow! Meet Lycan!
This kitty is ready to purr and play! Lycan and his siblings were found abandoned on the street. Our rescue took them in, got them healthy, vaccinated, spayed and neutered! Now he is ready to go home! Lycan is about 9 months old (the second picture is when he was an itty bitty kitten) and has been waiting patiently to find his family. Everyone who meets him says he has an awesome personality, but no adopters yet. Could you be his family?

Please contact us if you would like to meet Lycan!

Lycan's tax-deductible adoption donation includes his neuter and vaccinations. All the money from our adoption donations go directly into the medical costs of our other animals--so you are essentially rescuing two lives! Please contact us if you are interested in giving this kitty a home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lycan, a Scottsdale Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
