Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET ADRIAN!
She is a sweet and loving 5 month old black lab mix. Adrian has overcome so many obstacles since she began living with us. When we first got Adrian she was scared of the world around her and unsure what life would bring her. We showed her love and affection and through some patience she has learned so much.
Adrian LOVES going on walks and to the dog park, especially dog parks with water so she can swim. Oh yes, she LOVES the water! Adrian enjoys chasing a ball, which is her absolute favorite toy in the world. She is a chewer and is beginning to learn the difference between her toys and people stuff. A quick "NO!" and she immediately will stop what she is doing.
She will learn anything for a treat, I mean anything! She knows sit, stay and "give me paw". She really enjoys watermelon treats while playing outside. I definitely feel the best place for Adrian is somewhere that has a fenced yard. She has a LOT of energy and absolutely loves to play. She gets along great with all dogs and children big and small. I have taken her to several dog parks and there have been no issues.
Adrian is very quiet. The only time I have known her to bark is when she wants to play. She will whimper in her crate when she needs to go out, however, when she is out freely in the house she will not yet "signal" to go out. We are working on teaching her the bell on the door signal.
Adrian has a very rare form of Diabetes Insipidus which is maintained through eye drops she gets 2 times a day which will more than likely be lifelong. However there is a slim chance she will grow out of it.
Adrian is beyond sweet. She will turn into putty once you begin to rub her belly or right behind her ears. She sleeps only in a crate. We have tried to spoil her and let her sleep in a bed with us, she just won't do it. She really enjoys being in her crate with a blanket over it.
Adrian is a sweet and loving girl who deserves the very best. She will make a great family dog!
