If there is one word to describe April it's "kisses". She's got an unlimited supply of them! When this little "pocket pitty" curls up by your side clutching her favorite fluffy toy or when she's showering your hands with gentle kisses, it's hard to imagine the hardship that she endured. You see, our lovebug April is a survivor. She was hit by a car and ended up at animal control, waiting to be rescued for almost two months. During that time, she never made a peep, never cried out in pain - she just waited. When YLDR found out about her plight and rushed her to the vet, the staff immediately fell in love with this little girl's spirit. Now in her foster home, April is doing wonderfully in every way. She's very bright and picks up training right away! She's already crate trained, house trained, gets along with dogs of all sizes, gentle with little kids, and can keep herself busy with toys if needed. All she needs now is a forever family to call her own. April does have a bit of a limp when she walks or gets tired after a lot of playtime but it doesn't affect her ability to walk, run, or play whatsoever.
April is a female/sp Pit bull terrier mix born ~May 2015.

Our adoption fee is $250 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
