Leah's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Leah's Story...
Leah and her sister Lydia were owner surrenders – they were part of an “accidental litter.” Leah has been spayed, is up-to-date on her vaccines, and microchipped! She is approximately 17 weeks old (as of 7/18/16) and weighs 12-14lbs. She will be a medium sized dog when she is full grown. She has the SWEETEST little face and gives the softest baby kisses. She is a bit timid around new people, but she doesn’t stay that way for long. She LOVES to play and does very well with other dogs. She would do well in a home with children. She loves playing in the doggy pool, running around with other dogs, and being loved on. She is doing well with puppy pads and outdoor potty training, although she still occasionally has accidents. She is crate trained and sleeps well throughout the night! Leah would make a great addition to any family. If you are interested in adding Leah to your family, go to www.goofyfootrescue.org to complete an online application. Leah is being fostered in West TN and will be transported once her adoptions are finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leah, a Allen Park Australian Cattle Dog/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Boxer for sale in Allen Park, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Allen Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allen Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allen Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Boxer breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allen Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
