PJ-Adopted!'s Story...
The cuteness factor in this little puppy is off the scales. PJ and his brother JP are searching for their FurEver families where they can stay together. PJ is somewhat more reserved than his brother and somewhat shy. When he warms up to you, you have a very sweet and loving dog who will snuggle to his heart's content. He, like his brother, likes to play and explore outside (though doesn't like the cold) and will come when called. PJ is a clever dog learning to sit by his foster family's dog just by watching him do it. He is also good with dogs that are bigger than him and will not be afraid to make friends with them. PJ is learning basic commands and is almost housetrained. Approx DOB 5/20/16

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PJ-Adopted!, a Detroit Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
