Brody (Dols)'s Story...
Hi, I'm Brody and I am so excited to find my forever home. I'm a very sweet boy that loves attention and loves to play. I'm a tiny guy at only 13 pounds but I look JUST like a miniature Australian Shepherd or Border Collie and I won't get much bigger (maybe a few pounds). I have the prettiest eyes that are somewhere between a blue and a green. I love to look longingly at my foster mom until she gives in and gives me snuggles. I get along great with other dogs and am currently living with my sister, Basil, and another younger puppy. We even share a food bowl! I would love a family with a fenced yard so I can stretch my legs daily and show you how fast I can run. Please apply today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brody (Dols), a Harrisonburg Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog puppy from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
