My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dylan is a 7 month old male purebred Aussie. He is what is called a "Lethal Aussie" which is a genetic defect when two merle Australian Shepherds are bred together resulting in offspring that are deaf and/or blind. Dylan is DEAF. He can see perfectly, and responds well to hand signals. He is still a puppy and is learning quickly. He was turned into a shelter due to his owners living on a busy street, and him being deaf. (Apparently he wasn't aware when he purchased him.) Poor Dylan is now looking for a forever home to call his own. We'd love an experienced Aussie owner, and/or someone who has researched lethal aussies. He is a very good boy who just wants to please his owner. He is great with other dogs, cats, and kids--- with just the most loving and gentle personality.

Crate trained and housebroken, working on his hand signals.
