Boots's Story...
Boots is a wonderful, older gentleman that will make some lucky adopter a very special companion. This 8-10 year old still has pep in his step and if you can’t offer him a fenced yard then he needs to always be on leash as he likes to travel. He loves car rides so if you are looking for a pet to take with you then he is the one. He gets along well with other dogs, is house trained and does well on a leash. He is not food aggressive and doesn’t have a fear of men. Not sure how he does around cats and young children. He will spend time in his crate but prefers to be in your lap or on your bed. Boots is neutered, HW-, receives monthly heartworm preventative and is UTD on vaccines.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boots, a Courtland Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Courtland, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Courtland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Courtland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Courtland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Courtland paves the way for another one to be saved.
