My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! I'm Pinky. I'm 3-month-old female Terrier mix. What type of Terrier, my friends aren't quite sure, but one thing they do know is that I'm downright adorable! I weigh around 7 pounds right now, but I still have some growing to do. I have not been spayed yet as my doctor thinks it best to wait until I'm a little older before doing any type of surgery. I am up-to-date on my vaccines and I have been microchipped.

I'm super sweet and playful, just as you'd expect from a puppy. I'm really friendly and outgoing, making friends wherever I go. It makes no difference to me whether you're a person or a pooch, I'd love to meet you!

Before we go any further, let me just address what I'm sure you've noticed from my photos. The hair loss and pink coloration of my skin is caused by a skin condition called Demodex. While I was at the pound, I was really self conscious about my appearance, and worried that I would never make it out of there. But the volunteers at the shelter saw past my physical imperfections and decided right then and there to bring me to CageFree, where they knew I would be well cared for and placed in a loving forever home of my own.

I'm currently being treated for the Demodex using oral medication as well as getting medicated baths weekly. It's a pretty simple treatment, really. Please don't let my less than perfect appearance deter you. Once I'm finished with treatment and my fur grows in, I'm going to be one gorgeous little girl. Just wait and see!

So here's what I'm looking for in a family. Since I am so young, I get kind of bored when I'm alone, so it would be great if we could hang out a lot. It doesn't matter whether we're at home or if you bring me to work with you; as long as we're together, I'll be happy. Since I'm fond of other dogs, I'd love to check out the dog park. Or maybe you could bring me to the beach so that I can see what all the fuss is about. Or about a hike? I just want to get out and explore the world!

If you're looking for an incredibly cute, sweet puppy that will love you unconditionally, I'm your girl! Please don't hesitate to contact CageFree and arrange a visit. I'll be waiting!
