Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Grunt # 5024 is a 5-year-old-male, Boxer mix. Grunt went into a foster home after his owner passed away and while he was very confused and lonely at first, it didn't take long for him to come out of his shell. He is an awesome companion and extremely loyal to his people, big or small. He is very smart and loves to play with his dog friends. While he likes to run, play and lay in the sun, he prefers to be in the house on the couch. He doesn't get overly excited and has a very mature personality. He is very patient and laid back and does well with young children. He is house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash and will even sit for a treat! Fireworks and gunshots to tend to scare him, he would do well with an adopter who could spend extra time with him when frightened. He weighs 75 pounds and is full grown but he needs to lose a few pounds. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship.
