Sweet Pea (RBF)'s Story...
Sweet Pea is an approximately 15 month old German Shepherd mix. Sweet Pea is a wonderfully gentle soul who loves hanging out by her person's side. She is 60 pounds, house and crate trained, gets along great with other dogs large and small, and is cat friendly. Sweet Pea has fostered with small and older children, and is respectful and tolerant. Her favorite past time is riding anywhere you will take her-she loves car rides! This girl has an amazing temperament, and has been nothing short of an absolutely wonderful surprise in foster care. Sweet Pea has the potential to give back in her community as a therapy dog, and we really believe she would also enjoy this role. If you're the amazing family Sweet Pea has waited for, please

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweet Pea (RBF), a Syracuse German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Syracuse, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Syracuse.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Syracuse already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Syracuse breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Syracuse paves the way for another one to be saved.
