Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SUMMER is a 7 year old spayed yellow female Lab who weighs 59 pounds. Summer is a wiggly and sweet girl who has left her past behind and is ready to look forward to a life where she is spoiled and treated nicely. She has the appearance of a dog that has been bred all her life. She absolutely loves people and wags her tail whenever you say hi to her. Summer is good with other dogs and pretty much ignores them. No invisible fences for this girl. We don't have any cat or kid history, so she's approved for kids 10 +.
Update: Summer had a great weekend. She made some new friends, went to the park and enjoyed a visit to her temporary foster home. She was pleased to find a tennis ball waiting for her after her weekend away and did a few victory laps around the kitchen with it in her mouth. Summer is such a sweet and easy-going girl and seems to adapt immediately to a change in environment. She’s great in the car, great on the leash, and super affectionate. Summer has put on a little weight but could still add a few more pounds.
Update: Summer is doing great in her foster home. She gets along with the two resident dogs and has already caught on to the daily routine. She crates well and sleeps through the night. Right now she's under restricted exercise, so she goes out to the yard on a leash and takes care of business. This beautiful girl is outgoing and beautiful and looking for a family to love.
