Baby Ruth's Story...
I’m Baby Ruth, a sweet treat who’s ready to meet my forever family. See, my sister Cotton Candy and I were adopted from FOHA as kittens in 2015. Unfortunately, our family was not able to keep us, so we’re back at FOHA looking for love a second time. Since we’ve been together for our whole lives, it sure would be nice to find a home together. See, we love to keep each other company. We both love playing with toys. I’m a confident and curious girl who also just happens to be pretty darn cute, what with my adorable pink nose and adoring eyes. Folks seem to love my light-colored face, offset by dark tabby markings. I’m good with other cats and also with children, so I’d make a fun-filled feline family member for a loving family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby Ruth, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
