Aries's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Aries! He came to Animal Friends - VA a few weeks ago because his owners didn't have the time to take care of him and had to give him up. Thankfully, they took really good care of him when they could. He's potty trained, crate trained, and knows tricks like sit, lay down, shake, and roll over. His old owners said he should get a nice house with a yard so he has room to run around. He's a great dog, but he's very dominant, so he will need to be the only dog in his new home or have a very submissive dog that won't challenge him. He bonds very quickly and is such a good boy! Do you think Aries could be the right fit for your home?

We will be at the Potomac Mills PetSmart located at 13337 Worth Avenue, Woodbridge VA 22192 on Sundays from 1230 - 330. We look forward to meeting you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aries, a Woodbridge Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Woodbridge, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Woodbridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodbridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodbridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodbridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
