Wags's Story...
With a European look, Wags is the perfect name for our all-natural red doberboy. He has a calm, pleasant temperament and gently wags his tail back and forth on a regular basis! This velcro boy will follow you throughout the house and quickly become your shadow and best friend. A perfect gentleman, this sweet 9 yr. old has smoothly transitioned into foster care, easily following the new household routine. He has excellent manners in the house, is respectful of furnishings, and has not needed crating in his foster home. He is a smart, obedient doberboy that quickly learns by observation. Wags gets along with other dogs but finds children perplexing creatures so will need an adults-only household. If you are looking for a loyal, loving companion that will easily fit into your home, come and meet Wags at our next adoption event!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wags, a Columbus Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
